SelfStatr reports that only 36 percent of marketers actually use Instagram, compared to 93 percent of marketers who use Facebook. A startling figure given Instagram’s engagement with brands is 10 times higher than Facebook, 54 times higher than Pinterest, and 84 times higher than Twitter. Accentuated by the fact that Instagram’s visual content, which features more predominately on Instagram than Facebook, is proven to perform better than text-based content; with 40 percent of consumers responding better to visuals than plain text.
