Now, a new survey has confirmed that employees aren’t going quietly into that good night, as a wide range of workers are planning on taking steps to improve their working lives, whether their employers are on board or not. As for why employees are planning on making a change, the survey showed that pay (71%) was a massive driver. However, other factors included job fulfillment (69%), personal authenticity (66%), and schedule flexibility (49%). This trend is far from new. With alleged “worker shortages” causing a wide range of supply chain issues, employees continue to state that they are willing to work as long as employers are equally willing to meet them in the middle when it comes to compensation and culture.
