Trunk Club provides a personalized shopping experience for men. With 250 stylists, the company focuses on building one-on-one relationships with its members to fully understand their lifestyles and personal styles. Members are then hand-selected clothing that best fits their preferences, and a box is shipped to their home. There’s no subscription fee for the service; rather, members just pay for an of the items that they wish to keep. According to a statement, the acquisition by Nordstrom is a part of the high-end retailer’s mission to integrate the online and offline customer experience. The company will announced the terms of the agreement on August 14. Trunk Club will remain headquartered in Chicago and will continue to be run by its current leadership team.
