The customer is always right. At least, that appears to be the mantra behind Microsoft Teams updates, with the company regularly taking user feedback in service of comprehensive updates to the collaboration platform. While it might not be the best web conferencing tool on the market, it’s frequent updates make it a popular option for businesses with remote employees. Another one of those updates should be coming soon, and it will address a problem that many users have complained about in recent years. While many Microsoft Teams updates are listed to go live that same month, it looks like users will have to wait a bit longer for this one. The Microsoft 365 roadmap shows that this new feature will likely go live sometime in October, so keep an eye out if you’re frustrated by the current message search feature. Our research shows that Microsoft Teams is a solid option for businesses, providing lots of collaboration features along with the web conferencing tools. Plus, it comes with a lot of updates, which can seriously improve functionality over time. It’s worth noting that Microsoft Teams is better for larger teams, though, particularly those that already use Microsoft 365 for other business needs. All the features can be a bit intimidating, especially if all you need is a video chat platform. If you need ease of use more than anything, we’d recommend going for Zoom or Google Meet instead. They’re both very easy to use, offer great audio and video quality, and integrate with the majority of other platforms. Still, you and your business would be remiss if you didn’t at least investigate the value of Microsoft Teams before you commit elsewhere.
