On some days, I like to wear skinny jeans, some vintage boots, and a grandpa cardigan. On others, I’ll wear a nice pair of chinos, leather chukkas, and a Vineyard Vines shep shirt. Rather than restricting myself to one particular style, I wear whatever I’m in the mood for and whatever that works for me. And, I think, Jarrett Coger can empathize with me on this. Coger is the CEO and cofounder of Pavo, a mobile app that gives users the ability to mold and share their personal styles with different online communities. According to Coger, there are hundreds of different styles and niches in fashions – large and small – and it’s often the case that we don’t restrict ourselves to any one particular style group. Through Pavo, users can join various style communities (e.g. sneakerheads, modern meets vintage, campus/college style, etc.), save items from each community that they like, and share their own looks. According to Coger, there really aren’t any apps out there that allow people to find their own personal, unique style crews – the things out there are really limiting and fail to cater to all the various niches that exist in the market.
