MACH37 is an accelerator located at the Center for Innovative Technology in Herndon, VA. The incubator program is a 90-day affair and is aimed at developing the next generation of information security product companies. On top of mentoring and various programming, each startup will receive $50,000 upon completion of the program. The five cybersecurity startups in MACH37’s second class include: Axon Ghost Sentinel provides decentralized security solutions for mobile devices, mobile ad-hoc networks, and enterprise networks. Their cybersecurity tools can immediately detect and prevent abnormal behavior without compromising performance or privacy. The company utilizes self-organizing systems, such as ant colonies and immune systems, to provide lightweight, adaptive, and scalable solutions. CardKill offers software that can preemptively identify, locate, and terminate stolen/”cloned” credit and debit card info before they’re used in fraud. Disrupt6 enables innovative techniques to allow real-time responses to threats across IT infrastructure and Cloud services. Fast Orientation, Inc. gives organizations the tools to query, reason about, and respond to enterprise events in real-time, which enables them to respond to threats immediately and maintain operational health. Identia, Inc. offers large enterprises a lightweight and cost-effective identity and access control management (IdAM) solution to support interoperability throughout their systems. The $50,000 investment per startup is an increase from MACH37’s initial $25,000 investment offering. In January, the accelerator held its inaugural demo day with its first class.
