Since then the accelerator, led by co-founder and Managing Partner Sara Hill, has blossomed into a unique flower. On one side The Mill works with entrepreneurs who simply have an idea for a startup while on the other side they work with already founded, early-stage startups. These values have been instrumental in changing the landscape of Downtown Las Vegas for the better, and they also caught the attention of one Pamela Slim. If you’re not familiar with Slim, she’s an award-winning author, speaker, and business consultant who has been an entrepreneur for eighteen years. These days she spends her time orchestrating her Indispensable Community Tour, which is why she’s interested in The Mill. The entire tour focuses on community building and The Mill is a beacon of light centered on the same overarching goal. To that end, Slim will officially be stopping by Downtown Las Vegas on her tour. The Mill will host the event at Work in Progress on October 29, and according to Hill it’s a pretty big deal – I don’t disagree one bit.
