The study demonstrates there is vigorous progress returning to the economy via small-to-medium sized businesses and startups. This acceleration of entrepreneurialism is a sign of post-recession progress with no indication of slowing. Uber has released a new report that recommended a series of value changes, among other big news today. It is rumored that the new watch will come with two cameras and a heart rate monitor. Plus, it will be detachable from its wristband, making it function even better as a tiny portable camera. Because the back of each photo features an ad, likely from all those advertisers that are getting punished by the big platforms or by ad blockers. The big draw? The ads last a long period of time, unlike online ads, since no one throws away their photos. Sure, they’ll probably put them in a photo album, ensuring the ads are never read, but Flag can solve this problem by never mentioning it....

Flurry gathers its data from over 450,000 mobile applications that are installed on over a billion devices worldwide. It also uses comScore to determine figures on mobile browser usage and mobile applications. NetMarketShare is also used for the distribution of the browser usage. In other words, the company is combining data from several different sources using different methodologies, so some of the data, even though it’s definitely interesting, may possibly be a bit suspect....

Any news of expansion from Google Fiber is welcome news, as everyday consumers want access to high-speed Internet at a fair price. Google Fiber allows people to connect with speeds that are 100 times faster than today’s basic broadband. The service first launched in Kansas City, MO in 2012 and now provides super high-speed connectivity at around $80 per month. Currently, Google Fiber is only available in Provo, UT; Austin, TX; and Kansas City....

Wearable technology has become decidedly popular in recent years, particularly with smartwatches and fitness trackers finally getting the tech upgrade they needed to attract everyday consumers. However, eyewear has been notably less popular, as Google can attest with their initial lackluster launch of Glass. Others have tried, including Snap, whose far-from-popular launch of Spectacles seems to have established smart eyewear as a difficult market to crack. However, Google is certainly not in the business of giving up, and this update could provide a pathway to consumer adoption for smart eyewear down the road....

The Android apps were good enough to fool a lot of users: They had been downloaded over 5.8 million times, so a significant amount of Facebook account credentials may have leaked. And all the apps were functional at what they claimed to do, from offering daily horoscopes to adding virtual picture frames to images. It’s a reminder to us all: Check twice before downloading an app even from a typically trustworthy source like the Google Play Store....

According to the rankings, Harvard University ranks first place in graduate programs, while Babson College tops the undergraduate list.
